Today’s episode is an important one for anyone who has struggled with getting things done. Procrastination is a manifestation of your fear of failure. If you don’t take action, you can’t fail.

One of the hidden ways we procrastinate that feels productive, is to read books and take courses instead of taking action. Doing those things AND taking action isn’t buffering, but if we do those things in place of taking action, you are likely afraid of moving forward just in case there is a failure on the other side.

Jaime talks through three ways to get to the other side of procrastination:

  1. Have awareness

  2. Let your fears come to the surface, without judgement, write them out

  3. Create a plan for getting around those fears

  4. Lean into your support people and available resources to move forward, you aren’t alone.

Look at your fears objectively and look at the solutions so that you can move forward despite the fear.
